Bucket List item #14: Attend the National Stationery Show in New York. 

Some of you might think this weird but for those who know me well, know that i'm pretty much addicted to paper goods and stationery. Today I think I counted 9 different notebooks on my desk at work - only 2 of which actually had notes in them.

As a kid I used to love the first day of school because it meant brand new pens, pencils and notebooks. And even now I always start the year off with about 4 diaries because I can never make my mind up.

So you can understand why the National Stationery Show is pretty much my nirvana, but because I'm stuck here in Sydney I have to live vicariously through lucky duck's Cyd Converse (The Sweetest Occasion) and Grace Bonney (DesignSponge) instead. one fine day

Sunday's are probably my favourite day of the week. A day reserved for taking it slow, soaking up the glorious Sydney sun, lazy lunches or even spending the whole day under the doona. And then every now and again a Sunday comes along where I'm surprised by how much I can actually cram in.

Last Sunday was one of those great days... One Fine Day to be exact; a brand new boutique wedding fair that has filled a gaping hole in Sydney's wedding industry. For one day only Nadean from Photography by Nadean, From the Owl's Marissa and Jess from Oscar and Ruby brought together some of Sydney's best wedding vendors at the amazing Sun Studios.

A visual feast for the bride to be and even simple sticky beaks like myself, One Fine Day really is a breath of fresh air. Well done girls. I can't wait for the next one.

being terry richardson

Terry Richardson really rocks my world.

The sometimes controversial and always provocative fashion/celebrity photographers edgy editorials are a regular on the pages Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, GQ and Rolling Stone but it's actually the simple stuff you find on his online diary that I love the most.

It just seems like one big party in his studio and even Barack Obama has gotten in on the action. While being photographed by 'Uncle Terry' is high on most celebs bucket lists, you know you've really made it big when he lets you get your mits on his iconic oversized specs.

The thick black aviator style frames are so iconic, Moscot were even inspired to collaborate with the man himself to release the limited edition TERRY's back in 2011.

window shopping: anthropologie

Anthropologie has been one of my favourite stores for quite a while now but it wasn't until earlier this year that I got to physically walk through the doors and breathe-in the real Anthropologie in all it's amazingly merchandised glory. I wanted to buy everything in the store, but unfortunately my suitcase (and credit card) wouldn't suffice to get it all home, so instead I settled on just one item, the Valise leather journal above. It's so pretty i'm actually scared to write in it.

In a perfect world where baggage limits didn't exist or Anthropologie opened it's doors in Australia, here are some of my must-have items.
