Some of you might not be aware, but my parents recently upped and left Sydney to start a new life in the south west of France. It's a hard life for them; wining and dining, scouring brocante markets for vintage treasures, making their own jam and slowly stocking their wine cellar (slowly only because Dad is drinking it as fast as it is stocked), but it seems they do still get a little home sick.
So last weekend I ventured out into the sunshine to shoot some of my favourite spots in our sparkling city of Sydney so I could send them a little piece of home. The images above include views across Sydney Harbour from Cremorne Point, the secluded beaches and trails of my home suburb of Clontarf as well as the waves at Avalon on the Northern Beaches.
And if you're interested in what kind of a lifestyle on the other side of the world could have dragged them away from THIS, check out their own blog Rustique France (yes, i've taught the old folks how to blog) and read all about la vie française!
