The new issue of Adore Home Magazine is out today and has me longing for a return to California. This edition shines a spotlight on Los Angeles, Palm Springs and San Fransisco style, including the best places to sleep, eat and shop!! God damn it Loni, how am I going to get any work done today now??

Well it was a hot one in Sydney this weekend and it seems the hours spent outside are about to increase dramatically. Bust out the sunglasses because picnics, BBQ's and general splish splash by the pool are about to get a little brighter if the new summer range from Freedom is anything to go by. Today I have paired the colourful outdoor range with the flirty illustrated textiles of Mozi's new Tropicalia collection. Is it not just a match made in alfresco heaven?

LUST HAVE // KIP & CO BEDDING

 

Even though it seems people are still going bananas for their AW13 Fruit Salad collection (see above), boutique bedding designers Kip & Co and have recently released a SS13 collection which continues to prove that mixing and matching some amazingly colourful and graphic designs is a sure fire way to spice things up in the bedroom.

With the new addition of rugs and towels, the Dappled Dreams collection is inspired by the dappled light and warm nights of summers gone and the possibilities of summers to come. I'm loving the tan and black spots, especially when you combine with black pom poms.

WANDERLUST // SAN GIORGIO MYKONOS

Those clever kids over at Design Hotels have done it again! Remember this post about their pop-up hotel project in Tulum? Well after their 6 month stint in Mexico the team has moved to the Mediterannean, joining forces with the Paradise Club to create San Giorgio Mykonos, A Design Hotels Project.

Amongst the picturesque white buildings, dazzling blue waters and quaint cobbled alleys, San Giorgio is a relaxed cool, perfect for soaking up the sun by day and dancing under the stars come nightfall. Styled with a white washed palette, hand-picked organic furniture and an eclectic mix of regional treasures, the 34 room hotel is my ideal bohemian island home for the summer.

San Giorgio Mykonos will open for the Eurpoean Summer in May 2013.

THREADS // PLANET BLUE LOOK BOOK LOVE

I'm loving these three completely different summer look books from Planet Blue.

Photographed by Zoey Grossman, Tropical Squeeze is colourful take on bold shapes and patterns while Don't Mind If I Do screams the indie styling of Venice Beach. But it's the dreamy beach scene mixing relaxed neutral cottons with boho beach hair of Blue Life that I just can't tear my eyes away from.
