FASHION FIX // MARA HOFFMAN SWIM

It's true, i'm obsessed with Mara Hoffman. Just take a look at the new Spring Swim 2014 look book, sizzling with sexy prints, silhouettes and her signature tribal prints to understand why. With a steamy Havana nights vibe the campaign was shot by Olivia Malone and styled by Richard Ruiz and has me pining for a Cuban getaway.

Sigh. Someday soon.

COOL KIDS // OLLIE AND DELILAH

Boho gets the bling treatment with these amazingly cool embellished skulls from Ollie and Delilah.

Queensland designer Cassie Appleton embellishes the naturally sourced animal skulls with jewellery, beads and thread to create what seem like possible tribal offerings to the fashion gods.

The new 'must have' for the bohemian brat pack.

WANDERLUST // BEDARRA ISLAND VILLA

This dreary Sydney weather has me dreaming of a luxury beach pad, and this one looks spot on!!

Bedarra Island Villa can be found on the secluded East Bedarra Island, part of Australia's famed Great Barrier Reef, where white sand beaches and turquoise waters are framed by the shade of the palms.

Battered by 2011's Cyclone Yasi, Bedarra Island Villa received some much needed TLC from architect and interior designer Robert Davidov, bringing this beach front property back to life. Complimenting the stunning views across the coral sea and into the distant islands, the design, incorporating hard wearing natural materials, is relaxed and modest. And with no public access to the island for day trippers, this really will feel like your personal piece of paradise.

DESIGN GEMS // VITTORIA COFFEE X MBAFW

Vittoria Coffee has had their fashion fix again with their limited edition fashion series of cups for Mercedes Benz Australian Fashion Fashion Week. 2014 will see the addition of Camilla and Marc and Dion Lee to the designer collection.

Past collaborations have included Alice McCall, We Are Handsome and my personal favourite Ellery. Get ready for a designer coffee cup overdose on Instagram next month.

WINDOW SHOPPING // LET LIV

LET LIV means 'easy life' in Danish and that's how this NZ retailer believes it should be! With an emphasis on clean Scandinavian design, Natalie Sorenson searches the globe for innovative and simple products as well as producing and sourcing a range under the LET LIV brand.

Here's my shortlist (although it was difficult to narrow the selection down)...

KIP & CO MATCHSTICK TOWEL // BOLINA ROUND COPPER MIRROR // HAMMOCK CHAIR // PETROL GLASS VASE // MARBLE TRIVET // RADIO DOCK // COPPER HOUSE CANDLE HOLDERS

CREATIVE CRUSH // KRISTINA KROGH

Natural textures and geometry collide in these beautiful prints by Danish graphic designer and artist Kristina Krogh. Cork, marble, timber and brass fit together like a jigsaw puzzle, as Kristina masters the restraint of a neutral colour palette, and don't get me started on these styled to perfection vignette's.

Of course it's no surprise danish super brand ferm LIVING recognised a kindred design spirit, bringing Kristina on board for a collaboration of 4 plywood prints in their latest collection.

Or if you prefer something a little smaller you can get your hands all over, check out Kristina's gorgeous foiled notebooks - almost too pretty to use!!

STICKY BEAK // BARCELONA APARTMENT

While in Barcelona last year we rented a great apartment in the Eixample district, an area I couldn't recommend enough if you are looking to make the trip. Home of Barcelona's art nouveau (and Gaudi's La Padrera and Casa Batllo) Eixample is both a high-class residential and shopping area. The Passeig de Gracia, a beautifully wide and tree lined boulevard is where you will find all the international  designer labels, a vibrant cafe culture and the best restaurants and bars in town.

Of course, this fashionable hot spot wouldn't be complete without it's own 19th century architectural style, the reason for my sore neck and the hundreds of pictures of windows and balconies taken during my trip. And it's not just the facade's of these buildings I love, simply take a look at these pictures of this beautiful, light-filled Eixample apartment by DS Architects for some spanish interiors eye candy.

Floor to ceiling windows, crisp white walls and those patterned ceramic floor tiles. Swoon!
