The sun managed to make a rare appearance today giving us some relief from what seems to be the wettest summer ever!! Someone out there needs to stop the rain dance so we can enjoy the outdoors and maybe build our own little beach teepee like eb&ive have done with their 'love shack' range.

I wouldn't mind the cooler weather if I had these to snuggle up with. xx

I think I have spoken too soon about this great summer weather we are having in Sydney, or at least forgotten that summer often brings the sultry afternoon rain with it, as has been the case the last two days in a row.
It reminds me a lot of time spent in south east asia when an afternoon downpour would bring relief from long hot days and refresh you enough for the night ahead. I took the picture above after one such afternoon while on the island of Gili Tranwangan, off Lombok, Indonesia. It was just too picture perfect for me to ignore.
