TRAVELLING WARES
Clever cookies Kara Roselund and husband Tim were! On returning to home town Brisbane after working as a photographer/stylist in the UK, Kara and Tim have lovingly restored a 1956 Franklin caravan, affectionately named 'Frankie', and turned it into Travelling Wares - a travelling brocante stall, stocked with beautiful and practical vintage homewares sourced from around the world.
A love of early morning thrill hunting and rattling about at trestle tables in European flea markets inspired Kara to share her 'objets d'art' and found delights from far and wide.
Travelling Wares can be found next at the Jan Powers Farmers Market in Brisbane on Saturday 27 October and for those who can't make it in person, never fear there is also an online store.
And if you think Frankie is gorgeous wait until you check out Kara & Tim's Brisbane home over at Remodelista. Coastal cottage perfection!!

TRUE BLUE
Can you believe that in the last 6 weeks I've been to Ikea three times??? And although always a draw card, it wasn't the swedish meatballs that had me back again over the weekend. On Friday Ikea launched their new limited edition Simply Blue collection (or True Blue for the rest of the world) - an exclusive mix of Swedish design with Indian craft and colour.
Inspired by the very fabric of Indian culture the collection includes glassware, rugs, cushions and paper decorations. I easily could have loaded each and every piece into my trolley but I restrained myself to just the Bladspinnare and Barrspinarre cushions as well as the gold tasselled Broaryd pendant lamp shade. But there's always next weekend to go back for more...
Here's some of the range as well as some amazing inspirational images from the Ikea pinterest board.

window shopping: anthropologie
Anthropologie has been one of my favourite stores for quite a while now but it wasn't until earlier this year that I got to physically walk through the doors and breathe-in the real Anthropologie in all it's amazingly merchandised glory. I wanted to buy everything in the store, but unfortunately my suitcase (and credit card) wouldn't suffice to get it all home, so instead I settled on just one item, the Valise leather journal above. It's so pretty i'm actually scared to write in it.
In a perfect world where baggage limits didn't exist or Anthropologie opened it's doors in Australia, here are some of my must-have items.
1. Mathilde Sofa | 2. Naknek Bandeau Bikini | 3. Coastal Snapshot Tank | 4. Bedecked Creature Ring | 5. Reclaimed Metal Whale | 6. Barr-Co Soap | 7. Rosalila Cushion | 8. Rhys Chair Caribbean Blue | 9. Vinhais Garden Pot | 10. Bubbled Beverage Dispenser | 11. Madaket Loafers | 12. From the Deep Dinnerware | 13. Dalloway Side Chair | 14. Padrina Cushion | 15. Valise Leather Journal
1. Flutter Pattern Rug | 2. Mercury Glass Candle | 3. Ombre Tumbler | 4. Joe's Ikat Crops | 5. Finn Rocker | 6. Chimayo Pot | 7. Nearer Nurata Long Pillow | 8. Nouveau ID Bracelet | 9. Navala Necklace | 10. Pop Print Measuring Spoons | 11. Parvati Maxi Dress | 12. Buttercup Tote | 13. Harbor Coffee Table

take justin timberlake home
Like seriously... Is there anything this man can't do?
Not content with his triple threat entertainment status and fashion label William Rast, heart throb Justin Timberlake has gone and stuck his fingers in yet another pie, collaborating with stylist and designer Estee Stanley on new homeware's collection; HomeMint.
Below is a sneak peek from the new range and be sure to check out Justin and Estee's interview with Elle Decor for more about the collaboration available online early this month.
