STICKY BEAK // BARCELONA APARTMENT

While in Barcelona last year we rented a great apartment in the Eixample district, an area I couldn't recommend enough if you are looking to make the trip. Home of Barcelona's art nouveau (and Gaudi's La Padrera and Casa Batllo) Eixample is both a high-class residential and shopping area. The Passeig de Gracia, a beautifully wide and tree lined boulevard is where you will find all the international  designer labels, a vibrant cafe culture and the best restaurants and bars in town.

Of course, this fashionable hot spot wouldn't be complete without it's own 19th century architectural style, the reason for my sore neck and the hundreds of pictures of windows and balconies taken during my trip.
