The Society Inc super stylist Sibella Court has collaborated with Byron Bay board makers McTavish to release the Gypsy surfboard range in time for summer.
Using patterns and colours influenced by her travels (and her new book Gypsy) Sibella worked with young Australian designers and artists to create 5 completely different designs for the longboards. Currently only 3 have been released - Indigo (dyed by Shibori), Jungle (print by Bethany Linz) and Flamingo (designed by The Society Inc). Still to come is Giraffe, designed by paper social favourite bonnie and neil as well as the final The Society Inc design - Suzani.
And if your like me and not quite up there with Kelly Slater in the water (although longboards are the perfect 'beginners' board) they would certainly make a cool addition staying dry on a wall at home too. Purchase the boards here and keep an eye out for the final two designs to be unveiled. I can't wait.
